Dario grew up in Porciano, a few steps away from Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace, where creativity and technical mastery were part of everyday life. Raised by an artist and living near Italy’s renowned Montecatini footwear district, he developed a deep appreciation for design and engineering. After 15 years in the industry, he became frustrated by the lack of true innovation—shoes that looked good but felt outdated in function.
Leander comes from a northern Italian family in footwear retail, where craftsmanship was a way of life. Growing up surrounded by quality shoes, he understood that real luxury isn’t about a price tag—it’s about precision, durability, and wearability. With an entrepreneurial background, he partnered with Dario to build ADYRO.
